I would have to say the last ten years have been very memorable for me both on personal and professional level.
On the professional level, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Heidelberg (have no idea of how I ended up back in Tiffin to get another degree, but that is life) and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Dayton. I was a high school math teacher for four years in Eaton and Huber Heights, Ohio (where I presently reside). In 2005, I changed directions in the education field and I guess I would call myself an education contractor. I have taught classes at the University of Cincinnati, ITT Technical Institute and Miami-Jacobs Career College (both in Dayton, Ohio) as well as tutor numerous adult students in math.
I would to have to say that the best event that has happened is the beautiful lady beside me in the picture. This is my wife Maggie, and we truly have an interesting story of how we met. One day, I was checking my e-mail and Maggie sent me a message after she seen my profile on a dating website. We started talking with each other and felt that we had a very strong connection with each other. Maggie and I decided that we should meet in person so I flew to Nanning, China (where she lived) during Christmas 2005 and met her and her family. Everything went well and we decided to start the process of getting her to America so we could get married. Eight long months later, we were in each other arms again and we tied the knot on December 18, 2006.
I can happily say Maggie and I are having the times of our lives right now and enjoy spending every minute together. We both know that our future is bright together as we work as one to accomplish our goals as a family.
